Time To Improve Your Business And Lifestyle

People often ask me how I find the time to update this blog as frequently as I do.  That’s before they discover that I usually work fewer than 25 hours a week!

The answer, is that I make the time for blogging, because it’s a priority activity for me and my business.  As a keen time manager, I always have the time to do the important things, by refusing to waste time on the less important things.

The Single Most Powerful Use of Social Media for Small Business

I get asked all of the time for tips on simple ways to use social media in a small business that don’t require vast amounts of time.

I mean, small business owners know they need to get more involved online, they hear about and see it on TV daily, they are using more and more in their everyday lives, but when it comes to their own small business, it’s still taking a bit of a back seat because they fear they don’t have the time to do what looks and feels like a bunch of work for little immediate gain.

Do You Give New Ideas A Tough Time?

In the last two days, I’ve written about how to approach digital marketing in different ways. On Monday, I talked about how to go after digital marketing without having to put together a business case first. Yesterday, I talked about how persistence is the big thing that people need to succeed in digital marketing–never give up. But I got some feedback that people are still holding themselves back. And I think I know why. It is our natural human tendency to treat new ideas with skepticism. This is an instinct that has served us humans well, but it is exactly the wrong impulse for success in online marketing. Let’s figure out what’s going on.
